Description
Meet 'The Bush Telegraph' - the most gossipy bird bath this side of the black stump. Standing tall at 60cm with a proper stainless steel bowl up top, this rust-finished beauty's got more Aussie flora and fauna cut into its sides than a wildlife doco. Kookaburras perched up high, cheeky cockies having a yarn, banksias and gum leaves scattered about - even a couple of roos and wombats having a sticky beak at ground level.
Hand-cut from 3mm Australian steel, this flat-pack legend goes together easier than a sausage sanger and stands tougher than a tradie's work boots. Rain, shine, or a flock of thirsty galahs - she'll cop the lot and keep on standing. Plonk her in the garden bed, stake her near the veggie patch, or give her pride of place where you can watch the morning bird brigade from your kitchen window.
A ripper gift for the bird-mad neighbour, the green thumb who reckons they've got everything, or anyone who needs a proper water cooler for the local feathered gossips. Fair warning - once word gets out, you'll have more birds dropping by than a pie shop on a Sunday.
Includes a 34cm stainless steel bowl - easy to clean, easy to refill, and the perfect size for small birds to drink, splash, and carry on.

Care Tips
To ensure your custom steel artwork remains a beautiful centerpiece for years to come, here are some tailored care tips based on the material you chose.
For Corten Steel (Natural Rust Finish)
Corten steel is designed to evolve. Its appearance will change over time as it develops a protective "patina" (the rust layer).
- Embrace the Process: The rust layer is a natural shield that protects the steel from deep corrosion. You don’t need to treat or oil it.
- Prevent Staining: During the first few months, rain or high humidity can cause some "run-off" of the rust. If hanging indoors or against a light-colored wall, ensure the spacers (standoffs) are used to keep the piece from touching the wall directly.
- Cleaning: Simply hose it down or wipe it with a damp cloth if it becomes dusty. Avoid using soaps or chemicals, as these can disrupt the natural weathering process.
For Painted Mild Steel (Modern Look)
The painted finish provides a sleek, protective barrier against the elements.
- Gentle Cleaning: Use a soft, microfiber cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or smudges, a damp cloth with a tiny drop of mild dish soap is all you need.
- Avoid Abrasives: Never use steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch or dull the paint finish.
- Touch-ups: If the paint is ever chipped by accident, we recommend a small dab of exterior-grade metal touch-up paint to prevent moisture from reaching the raw steel beneath.
General Handling & Safety
- Watch the Edges: Because your piece is hand-cut from 2.0mm steel, some edges may be sharp. We recommend wearing gloves while unboxing and hanging the piece.
- Secure Mounting: Steel is durable but heavy. Always use the provided hardware and ensure you are mounting into a secure surface (stud, brick, or using the correct anchors for plasterboard).
- Environment: While Australian steel is incredibly tough, pieces hung in high-salinity environments (right on the coast) may age faster. A quick rinse with fresh water once or twice a year will help remove salt buildup.
